A day at the yard

From the first feed to the last check, StableOpta keeps every horse’s day in one calm place.

  1. The morning feed

Tick each horse off as you go round. Everyone on the yard can see who’s been fed, and who hasn’t.

The morning feed round, with Juniper’s feed and a Mark fed button
  2. The care round

Farrier, vaccinations, worming and the dentist, in one schedule. Anything due today is at the top, and done in a tap.

The care schedule, with Rook’s dental overdue
  3. The farrier’s here

Plan one visit for several horses. Tick each one off on the day, and the charges go to the right owners.

A farrier visit planned for three horses
  4. An owner asks

Owners send requests, like a clip or a rug change, and you approve them in a tap. They always know what’s happening.

Requests from owners, with Approve and Decline
  5. Rugs for tonight

Tonight’s low comes from the forecast, and each horse gets a rug to suit its clip and how it runs.

The rug board, with tonight’s low of 6 degrees
  6. The last check

A calm dark mode for the late round, easy on your eyes in a dark yard.

Ask about your stable

2 hours

back every week

About 110 hours a year, or 14 working days.

    How we estimate this

We start from typical weekly admin on a livery yard: about 3 minutes per horse updating feeds and rugs, 1½ minutes per horse keeping health records and reminders, 6 minutes per owner answering questions and sending updates, 10 minutes per member of staff on handovers, and month-end billing of 25 minutes plus 6 minutes per owner. We assume StableOpta takes around 60% of that off your hands. It’s an estimate: every yard is different.

    Questions

Still have a question? Get in touch and we’ll help.

Which devices does it run on?

StableOpta is an Android app for phones and tablets, available on Google Play. It’s designed for the yard as much as the office, in light or dark. [Explain how owners without an Android phone view their portal and reports.]

    Is it a subscription?

No. StableOpta is free with up to three horses, and you unlock the whole app for your yard with one payment of £18.70, yours to keep. StableOpta Pro, coming soon, will be an optional monthly or yearly plan for the features that run in the cloud, such as the AI assistant, AI-drafted report notes, the owner portal and team sync. Monthly owner reports are part of the app.

Do my owners need to pay?

No. Owners never pay, and they don’t need the app: they receive monthly reports and bills from your stable. With StableOpta Pro, coming soon, they’ll also get their own private portal, at no cost to them.

Who can see my stable’s data?

Your team sees everything; each owner sees only their own horses and bill. We never sell your information. Read our privacy policy for the details.

Does the worming feature replace my vet?

No. It follows common veterinary guidance to organise egg counts and intervals, and flags results worth discussing. Your vet always sets the plan.
